Android vs. iPhone vs. Webcam
What I use for tracking and testing:
🍎ipad mini 6th gen
(A15 chip, iOS device).
In the past I used an ipad 9th gen and it was OK just has issues with looking down tracking.
I would not go older than an ipad 10th gen.
Getting a USED iphone is OK:
Many guides recommend iPhone X but that phone is very old.
iphone XR/iphone 11 would be better.
An ipad works too!
It just depends on the chip in the device.
Phones/ipads seem to track better if iPad is angled somewhat below you.
On 'TrueDepth'
"iOS devices with the A12 chip or newer without the TrueDepth camera are also supported and the tracking quality is roughly the same. Some minor differences may be observed when using the devices in environments with very bad lighting." -Vtube Studio Manual
In other words, you DO NOT need an iOS device with the TrueDepth camera to use exclusive iOS vtuber tracking params.
iOS Chips
The higher the chip, the better the tracking will be.
XR has a A12 Bionic chip.ipad 9th gen & iphone 11 has an Apple A13 Bionic chip.ipad mini 6th gen & iphone 13 both have a A15 Bionic chip
Overall:
Use an iOS device if possible,
webcam is the recommended tracking otherwise. Android is the weakest.
If you are using webcam, your best options are using NVIDIA (need an RTX card) or using MediaPipe.

Frowning Mouth:
🍎Only an iOS device is able to detect and track a frown mouth.❌A frown will not be tracked with any normal webcam/NVIDIA/Mediapipe use.Trade off is iOS device is really bad as seeing eyebrows as individuals.Linking them to mouth X can sort of address that. (vbridger links those).

Setting up Your Vtuber in Vtube Studio
Your Vtuber Model I send you will come with a pre-set up vtube studio file. Please don't lose that. You should be able to redownload it from VGen if purchased there. Or if we have agreed to different arrangements ect.
You WILL have to adjust probably most of the VTube Studio tracking numbers to your tracking setup/your face/movement and it will take some time.
What I give you by default will be off because I don't have your face or camera setup.
Below you'll see some example params in Vtube Studio. Don't edit the ones that say 'don't edit'. And please edit the ones with (edit). Left side numbers only (unless you want to limit things).
*Pay attention to the red dot. You doing the action will cause the red dot to go up or down (such as blinking).
Adjust the numbers to fit what you like.
You might have to record yourself and these settings in order to double check.
As an example: Eye Y by default in Vtube Stuio Auto Setup, left side numbers are 1/-1. But if left this way I find your eyes won't look up. So I changed them to 0.4/-0.4. Adjust what you like.
Your eyebrows not reaching max height your vtuber model can? Adjust the top number to match the red dot when your IRL eyebrow height is maxed on your face.

Physics Settings
By default the physics strength is 50, and that is what I base all my physics settings on.
If this is increased or decreased, it is not the way the model is intended to be like/look like with it's physics, and it will probably break all the physics on the model.
Please do not adjust this setting, it will make me sad.
In the next 2 weeks-ish after your model is finished and given to you, if you would like the physics to be adjusted/add a little more oomph to them (or reduced), please DM me and I will do my best to adjust the model's physics.However, if it's been like 2 months or so since the model has been finished, I may not fulfill the request due to being busy.
Please be sure to go over your model file thoroughly after receiving it for anything you would like adjusted. Thank you.
VBridger: A VTube Studio Plugin:
VBridger
VBridger is a plugin Unity program that increases the mouth shapes available to use in Vtube Studio by a lot. It needs to run alongside with Vtube Studio.
You can chew with your mouth, squint with your eyes, move your mouth up and down using the VBridger Plugin. Vtube studio will not track this on it's own without the Vbridger plug in. Your model has to ALSO be rigged FOR Vbridger to have the extra features.

Do you need Ifacialmocap app also? I am unsure cause I run it without that and it works great.
Install Tip:
VBridger may need to be installed on the same hard drive as Vtube Studio.

You maybe don't need Ifacialmocap for iphone as far as I can tell. I am not sure how much it enhances tracking but VBridger on it's own is excellent.

VBridger Troubleshooting
When using Mediapipe or NVIDIA webcam tracking, make sure the camera is OFF in vtube studio.
Webcams can only be used by one application at a time.
When using iOS device, check all the port numbers. Camera in Vtube Studio is OFF.
If you see the text at the bottom
"!!! VTS PATH NOT FOUND, FIX IN SETTING."
Go to the top left hand corner and click on the cogwheel.
Look on the right hand side of the settings and click the bottom button to find the VTS folder.
Make sure your webcam is set to at least 30 FPS.(FPS is next to the camera resolution in "Camera Settings" in VBridger.)
Make sure to "Locate VTS" folder in your Steam folder.
VBridger may need to be installed on the same hard drive as Vtube Studio.
If you are having issues with your camera or tracking after watching the tutorial video check the Vbridger Discord for help topics and search on that discord to see if someone else has had the same issue.

For a model I have rigged/my vtuber child, sometimes I MAY occasionally offer to rerig or update something for free depending on how long it would take me/how busy I am.
Sometimes Live2D updates with something cool that I want to adjust on a model OR if mouth tracking changes or needs updated.
My Vtuber children may make a very simple request once in a blue moon (such as an eye iris change/color change) and I may do that for free, but I may turn it down depending on how busy I am/how difficult the request is. Feel free to still to ask though.
Total rerigs or new additions requested would need to be a special request and will need compensation.

YOUR MODEL .PSD FILE
✖️ I do NOT work on NSFW, AI Generated, lewd, children or loli models.
The model .psd provided by you MUST belong to you. You have the rights to get it rigged or was commissioned by you or fully gifted to you and the artist is aware of that gift. Or if this full vtuber is a gift for someone else, the model artist must be AWARE and OK with that.
Your model .psd MUST be cut or drawn to be a proper vtuber model, and you must check first that everything is on separate layers and all layers are named properly (no spaces and named).
You must be able to contact your model artist, in-case the art needs to be edited to be able to rig certain parts. Or your artist must be willing to contact me to discuss editing for rigging purposes. I will work with what I'm sent but I will not edit artwork beyond a few tiny pixel mistakes. You acknowledge and agree that I have the right to edit the model .PSD file as I see necessary, and that your artist also consents to this.
✖️If your .psd has a lot of errors or would need heavy editing to get it to be workable, I will decline rigging your model altogether.
✖️Any additions (such as full extra hair-do, wings, full extra outfit, more than the base toggles etc), not marked in your request form and paid for, or anything not discussed with me before I start the project, will not be rigged even if they are in your .psd file.
GENERAL
I may post videos, images and make a showcase video of the finished model for advertising of my skill set on my Youtube channel, my socials, and carrd website. For posting in discord channels.
I may add video(s) and images to my portfolio website and Vgen portfolio of this model.
If the model is to be debuted, I need a date. I will wait for said date to post my showcase.
FILES
All Files you receive (Vtuber Model Tracking files (.moc3 file and .json files)) will be focused for Vtube Studio only.
Model files will be sent through VGen (which says they will store it long term) if contacted through VGen. If you would rather it be sent through Google drive I can but I don't want to long term store it there.
You are responsible for securely storing and backing up the Vtuber model files I provided. I am not responsible for their safety or management. If the files are lost, I will be unable to replace them. VGen may store the files for now, but it is recommended that you also maintain your own backups.
PAYMENTS
If you contacted me through Vgen or made the commission request through Vgen, you must pay through Vgen's systems. I will not accept otherwise.
💚 If the request is from a fairly big vtuber or with a Company, you may contact me about directly paying me or signing things.
Half of payment must be made upfront for Fullbody rig and Halfbody rigs. The other half must be paid after I have sent a 2nd video recording of your mostly finished model. Chibi rig MUST pay fully upfront.
If you cancel the project after I have told you I have started working on it, OR you refuse to send the 2nd half due payment when the model is finished, whatever payment I have already collected will be non-refundable to cover what work I have done and my time. NO FILES will be sent to you in this scenario.
If you wish to pay full upfront, please contact me about that.
REVISIONS
After the model has been finished, if there are small revision requests or fixes I will do so for free up to 2 weeks after the model has been delivered.
The small revisions I will do include but are not limited to:
Any layers in the wrong order (mine or model artist's mistake).
Physics to be increased or decreased or adjusted slightly anywhere on the model.
Slightly moving the location of a few objects or layers.
Adding the ability for an object to toggle off.
✖️ Anything not on this list OR are unreasonable time costly requests I may decline to adjust.
✖️ I will not do any major revisions or changes once the model is finished such as redoing large parts or a total rerigging of anything. New things NOT discussed at the start of the project, like clothing, new hairdo, new face parts, new toggles or animations ect, are NOT revisions, I may decline, or I will need to be paid at another time as a different transaction.
DEADLINES
A normal Fullbody Vtuber (without purchased extras or lots of bells and whistles) takes me about a month to finish. (Could be less, could be more, depending on my schedule and the model.)
I will update you along the way in some form.
USAGE TERMS
I must be credited (MatchaFou) CLEARLY and easy to read, somewhere on whoever is using this model's twitter/youtube/twitch etc profile. Live2D artist or "Papa orパパ" is OK.
If you sell this model or transfer ownership, you must contact me and I must be credited by this new person. My TOS applies to the new owner too with usage terms whatever and else applicable.
Do not edit the physics in Vtube Studio (it may break the physics and make it look glitchy)
These files are focused for use with Vtube Studio. If Vtube Studio disappears one day I cannot help you find an alternative. I cannot help with Vtube Studio plugins.
REFUNDS
No refund requests for any reason will be accepted once I have started working on the model.
If an emergency happens for me, family emergency, or I am sick and I would have to miss a few days of work I will contact you about it if it will significantly impact the time frame I expected the work to be finished.
If I become incapacitated or unable to complete the model I will issue a full refund.
SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE
It is your responsibility to ensure that Vtube Studio, VBridger, or any other necessary software, as well as compatible computer hardware, are installed and properly configured to run the model. I am unable to control or guarantee the hardware or software capabilities of your computer to ensure that Vtube Studio and your model run smoothly.
.cmo3 file
By requesting my services, you are giving me permission to create a Live2D editing file (.cmo3) of the .psd you sent to me. It is my editing file of my work and will NOT be sent to you in any form and it is NOT included with the model files. (This file is NOT used by Vtube Studio, and is NOT normally given out by people who rig.) The .cmo3 file is the file needed to make model files or any edits to the model itself.
I may consider providing my editing file for a separate fee, discussion and agreement on use terms. Please consult with me before I start the project or soon after the project is finished if this is something you are interested in. You do not need this file if you are going to return to me for future updates and additions.
I will store my .cmo3 file in accordance with my discretion and take appropriate measures to ensure its safekeeping, unless an agreement has been made and an additional fee has been paid permitting you or your company to store the file.
I may choose not to retain the .cmo3 editing file after the two weeks revision/editing period after the model is finished, revision/editing period), and I reserve the right to delete it for any reason, whether due to disagreements or other professional considerations.
